Bio

Dominik Nawrocki is a Polish artist based in Baerlin, combining 3D VR sculpting, animation, classic painting and drawing, ceramics, video and text. He graduated from the Faculty of New Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Journalism at the Jagiellonian University. He is interested in astrophysics, likely influenced by the spirit of Nicolaus Copernicus roaming the cloisters of their shared Alma Mater. He lived in London, albeit very briefly, due to the high cost of public transportation and the depressing atmosphere of a soulless metropolis. He spent some time in Edinburgh, where he designed book covers. There, the atmosphere was much more bearable thanks to the magnificent nature unafraid to pierce the city with the wedge of its majesty. But that also didn’t keep him there for long. He currently tries to co-curate POV (Point Of View), an artist-run space promoting artists from Central and Eastern Europe. Represented by Horst und Edeltraut Gallery Berlin.
