Gone
A memoir of my grandpa. I secretly recorded one of his many stories on my phone during one of our regular meetings. Sitting with him, sharing a quiet, private meal, and listening to his memories was always one of the most meaningful parts of my life.
He was an engineer who designed machines for agriculture and the automotive industry, and he traveled the world at a time when that was nearly impossible for Polish citizens. His true passion, however, was painting.
I learned about his death on the first huor of my holiday at the Polish seaside. Now the sea reminds me of him.
He passed away in 2023
